Congratulations! Choosing to begin therapy is a huge step forward and one that can be tremendously rewarding.

A lot of people put therapy off for a long time because it can be intimidating to think about facing the things that are difficult to think about. Ironically, when people finish their first session, they often feel as though a weight has been lifted.

I usually like to start our relationship with a comfortable and relaxed conversation about the big picture.

Once we have gotten to know each other over this first meeting, we can begin to talk about timelines, expectations and the actual paths we will be taking together towards healing, emotional freedom and happiness.
