Anger is a natural emotion that serves a purpose. When we aren’t in control of our anger, however, it can be damaging to us and our relationships.

There are many skills we can learn and practice that can help us keep our anger levels lower and help with damage control.

  • Communicate more assertively so that you don’t hold your feelings in and explode later
  • Realize your frustration early on and know what you can do about it
  • Know when to talk and when to leave
  • Know how to diffuse other people’s anger
